The library is a great place for families to get away from the stresses they are dealing with on a daily basis. For our Outpatients the Library is a great place to while-away the hours in between appointments. For our Inpatients the library is a place to reconnect with loved ones and the world outside of Riley.
Location: Main hallway of the Frank and Marian Snyder Family Resource Center Room 1719.
Hours of operation*: Monday-Friday: 9 am - 5 pm, *Night and Weekend Hours may vary due to volunteer coverage

How To Use Library Services
- Books other than those marked as non-circulating may be checked out for a period of two weeks.
- CD/Tape Players may be checked out for a period of one week
- Videos/DVD's/CD's/Tapes and Board Games/Puzzles may be checked out for a period of two days.
- Patients name and room number are all that are needed to check out items.
- Game Cube/Computer Games cannot be checked out they are for Library use only.
- Videos/DVD's may be viewed on The Library Television.>
The information at the Edward A. Block Family Library supplements the ongoing educational efforts of the child's doctors, nurses, and other health care professionals, and does not replace the medical instruction and education provided by the child's physician.
The staff of the library can not provide interpretations, counseling or advice. It is important for families to consult their child's physician if they have any questions or concerns.
